Project Description:
MOMINA CHEEMA FOUNDATION was incorporated to illuminate and celebrate the life and achievements of Momina Cheema by enriching the lives of future scholars and change makers in furthering their knowledge of Islamic law, culture and philosophy.
MOMINA CHEEMA FOUNDATION was established through the efforts of Momina’s family and friends. The foundation is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of individuals who share Momina’s commitment to learning, scholarship, and intellectual striving and are committed to nurturing these values in other young scholars.
Momina Cheema Scholarship Project's Objective:
The principle objective of the “MOMINA CHEEMA FOUNDATION” Scholarship project is to provide assistance to the maximum number of students who have secured admission to the universities in various disciplines preferably in law, Muslim philosophy and Medicine, but lack of financial means to continue their studies. The Project shall provide an opportunity for talented students who are penurious and are incapable of meeting education costs at higher education institutions.
Project Administration:
A three-member committee nominated by the “MOMINA CHEEMA FOUNDATION” will review the applications dully recommended by Quaid-e-Azam Medical College, Bahawalpur and have a brief meeting with the short listed applicants. The applicants approved by committee will receive a scholarship of Rs.30,000/- annually through crossed cheque from “MOMINA CHEEMA FOUNDATION” in favor of successful female students/ awardees.
